>> 8:00 AM: Our guide will pick you up from your Hotel (only in hoi an city)and take you to the Hoi An market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients you will use in the cooking lesson. Make sure your camera is handy.
Take the basket boats and start your journey exploring the small channels, go deep into the forest of water coconut, hear about the history of the water coconut Forest in Vietnam- American wars. Tourist will be taught to rowing, fishing, catching crabs by the local fisherman, experience a mazing performance with basket boat dancing…
Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. You can learn how to make the rice paper for the special fried spring- rolls. And learn how to make rice milk from the rice graining traditional way. After that you use the rice starch to make Vietnamese pancake( Banh Xeo). Enjoy what you have cooked after the instructions.

Best cooking class
Overall, we had a fantastic afternoon. We were picked up by a transfer and first taken to the local market where we were show how to identify fresh fruit and veg. Then enjoyed a basket boat trip on the river with some crab fishing. Finally Hon and her family taught us how to cook many Vietnamese dishes. All the food was delicious! We met many other travellers and ha the best time. Hon was an inspiration and truly lovely lady- we couldn’t recommend this class enough!
Brilliant experience
Huynh and her family were so friendly and gave us a great experience, the food was amazing. We had such a great time with them, that we came back for dinner with her a few days later and she invited us to her hometown. One of the best things we did in Vietnam!

Such a good day out, more than just a cooking class. We were shown the markets to grab our ingredients for the day, taken crab fishing in the coconut palms, learnt about Vietnamese history and of course how to cook delicious meals. Hyunh was great host and would definitely do it again. 100% recommend.
